- Professional role (CFI, flight school, student pilot)

- Flight training records entered into Trim (lesson logs, endorsements, progress)

- Pages visited and interactions within our apps
- IP address and general geographic location
Site traffic on tarmaclabs.org is measured with Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless — it does not set tracking cookies, build advertising profiles, or follow you across other websites.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL, hosted in us-east-1). We use Row-Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure each user can only access their own data. We implement industry-standard security practices, but no transmission over the internet is 100% secure — use our services at your own risk.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Vercel — hosting and deployment
- Google OAuth — optional sign-in (Trim)
We do not sell your data to third parties.
6. Flight Training Data
Trim stores flight training records entered by CFIs and students, including logbook entries, endorsements, and lesson evaluations. This data is treated as sensitive. CFIs own the records they create; students may access their own records via the student portal. Data is not shared with third parties, including the FAA, without your explicit consent.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication sessions and basic analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function correctly.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
